About Us


Specifically designed for children 4.5 – 12 years. Our Juniors program is a hybrid system which incorporates training methods of Karate and Tae-Kwon-Do. The program combines traditional values and principles, so students will become more confident while learning fine motor skills such as strength, balance, flexibility and coordination. Our program has a fun and energetic class format that helps the young students develop skills that set them up for success in life.

Your child will learn the 5 rules of personal safety, good self-control, good attitude, good manners, the ABC’s of conflict avoidance, stranger alert, fundamental life skills such as self-discipline, focus, self-control respect patience and we also encourage good grades.


Martial Arts training helps to develop an indomitable spirit in practitioners of any age and any skill level. Troy Dorsey’s Karate program focuses on increased concentration, ability to memorize and awareness. Many of our students say there is no better stress relief than coming onto the mat and pushing their minds and bodies to the limits. The adult curriculum is a structured traditional program complimented by modern training techniques that provide students the opportunity to understand theory as well as practical application.

Students learn techniques and strategies that can truly be life-saving skills as well as give overall fitness. New students will see improvement in their coordination, flexibility, focus and muscle tone in just a few short weeks. Those who practice martial arts will have better stamina, strength and peace of mind that comes from knowing they can efficiently and effectively defend themselves.

Troy Dorsey’s School of Champions has equipment ready for you to use in your free time such as climbing ropes, custom pull ups, weights, bars and pullies.
